2. Lake Ashinoko

Depart from Lake Ashinoko in a Pirate Themed boat! Don’t forget to enjoy the view of the famous “Tori Gate” from the ship.

3. Owakudani Station

Take a scenic RopeWay to experience steaming fumaroles, relish sulfurous air, and savor blackened hot spring eggs for luck. Behold stunning views of Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji on clear days.

4. Oshino Hakkai

Nestled at the foothills of Mount Fuji, OshinoHakkai is a place where tranquility intertwines with natural beauty. This idyllic village is renowned for its pristine spring water ponds, which are the result of the mountain’s melting snow filtering through the Earth for over 80 years. As you wander through the village, you’ll encounter eight crystal-clear ponds, each with its unique charm and character. The surrounding area is adorned with traditional thatched-roof houses, further immersing you in a bygone era. These houses have been repurposed into shops and eateries, offering local crafts, snacks, and the chance to experience the village’s rich heritage.

5. Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine

This shrine serves as a symbolic link between humanity and the awe-inspiring grandeur of Mount Fuji. Pilgrims have been drawn to this sacred site for centuries, seeking blessings for a safe journey and a successful ascent. The tranquility of the shrine’s grounds, coupled with the sight of traditional structures and torii gates, creates an atmosphere of reverence and reflection.

6. Oishi Park

A beautiful flower garden faces both Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. This place has some exciting ice cream flavors to try.

7. Chureito Pagoda

This is a five-storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings.
